Disaster Displacement at the Regional Platforms for Disaster Risk Reduction

The Regional Platforms are scheduled to take place as follows:

• Second Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR), 14-17 October 2024 in the Philippines
• Ninth Africa Regional Platform for DRR, 21-24 October 2024 in Namibia
• Europe and Central Asia Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, 6-8 November 2024 in Montenegro
• Sixth Arab Platform for DRR, 9-12 February 2025 in Kuwait

The discussions and outcomes of the Regional Platforms will inform the Eighth Session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, which is scheduled to take place in June 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
